Hiking
Just a short drive away are a few Provincial Parks that invite for hikes to everyone’s taste. Check out Grundy Lake, Restoule and French River Provincial Parks. There are no hiking trails on the property or within walking distance.
Canoeing, Kayaking & Paddle Boating
Toad Lake and the Pickerel River invite for endless discovery trips by canoe, kayak or paddle boat. Our equipment is available for rent in the office. Please note: Life Jackets are mandatory when using our water crafts (canoes, kayaks, motor boats & paddle boats).
Fishing
Toad Lake and the Pickerel River are well known for its plentiful fishing! Cast off right from the dock in front of your cottage or rent a boat & explore the lake while you fish! Clean your catch onsite in our fish cleaning hut and grille it on our propane BBQ’s or on your open fire pit! See our fishing section for more information.
Swimming and Relaxing
Relax on our gorgeous beach front! Our safe, sandy beach is the perfect place for your kids to soak up the sun while burning off some of some of that extra energy!
Boating
Bring your boat or rent one of ours! Please inquire if we have the docking space for your date upon booking. A docking fee will apply to anyone bringing their own boat. No alcohol is permitted while boating. Please note: Life Jackets are mandatory when using our water crafts (canoes, kayaks, motor boats & paddle boats)
Excursions
Are you ready for a trip a little bit further away? North Bay, Parry Sound or Sudbury have a lot to offer for the rainy day. There are activities and museums for everyone’s interest.
